Supply Planning: Use monthly demand signal to monitor the supply, both Purchased Items and Sub-assembly Make items to cover the backlog and demand forecast. Also, understand factors impacting Safety Stock level and be responsible for sizing the Safety Stock quantity for supply resilience.
Support Manufacturing Production: Understand BOM and materials availability of a work order. Manage work orders to support production. Work with the Production and Fab Managers for the Fab commit and Sales Orders Scheduled Ship Date.
Familiar the manufacturing process, production capacity constraints and build priority to better meet the business needs by closely engaging with Production Team.
Inventory Management: Monitor the inventory levels against the demand and work with Marketing to mitigate any inventory excess. Effectively manage the work orders to avoid aged jobs by coordinating with production materials coordinators.

Understand Demand: Understand the component weekly demand derived from top level assembly, work with Production Operation team to assess the machine capacity constraints against the demand. Highlight the build risks with Operation management.

Materials Management: Expedite materials through collaborating with procurement and logistics delivery team. Formulate strategies to actively address expediting orders and escalations.
Inventory Management: Monitor the inventory levels against the demand and work with Marketing to mitigate any inventory excess. Effectively manage the work orders to avoid aged jobs by coordinating with production materials coordinators.
This is an Entry to Intermediate level position as Supply and Production Planner. It is an excellent position for new college graduates with one to three years’ work experience and have passion in Supply Chain Management. You will be exposed to End-to-End Supply Chain. You directly interact with Procurement, Production Operations, Product Engineering, Logistics and Sales Order Management.
- 1-3 years relevant work experience with bachelor’s degree in industry engineering or supply chain operation management. New college students with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good at working with cross-functional team.
- Strong excel skills. Planning systems experience such as Oracle, Kinaxis are preferred.
- Proactive, result-driven and be able to prioritize the tasks under dynamic business situations.
- On-site at Santa Clara site, no remote work option.

Pay Range:
USD $70,740.00 - USD $117,890.00 Year
