As a key member of the NVIDIA production planning team, you will work closely with supply & demand planning teams while interfacing with contract manufacturing/ factory operations/ and other supply chain teams.
What you'll be doing:
  • Manage the production planning execution within and between contract manufacturers (CM’s), working closely with the factory production managers to address and resolve issues.
  • Drive CM commits in our NALA manufacturing region that the rest of NVIDIA will rely on to make customer revenue commitments, including working w/ our logistics teams to drive inventory movement of consignment and FG’s in and between factories and distribution centers.
  • Create complete visibility on NV products’ production plan leveraging SAP PO management. You will handle the purchase order management within SAP system, ensuring stable production and supply commits.
  • Proactively identify potential production risks e.g., capacity, material, quality, etc. and coordinate with supply/demand planning to determine tradeoffs while working w/ CM/factory operations to craft an optimized production recovery plan.
  • Monitor aging inventory and minimize obsolescence and waste, ensuring optimal stock turnover. Work together with corresponding functional teams on inventory quarantine, rework execution, shipment recovery.
  • This position is a global role which will require engagement with teams in US and APAC; flexibility in multiple time zones would be required.
  • Provide suggestions to NV management team and its manufacturing partners on how to pursue a higher performance level on our KPI's: supply commitment hit rate, OTD, supply stability, Pullin/Push out, tracking, production plan efficiency, etc.
  • Drive planning system enhancements, report automation, and process improvements to support growing global business.
What we need to see:
  • BS/BA degree in industrial engineering, finance, manufacturing, operations, business (or equivalent experience), MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain/ operations/ manufacturing, with focus in production/ supply planning
  • Experience in planning ERP system such as SAP/ APO/ S4 HANA, and in-depth understanding of MRP concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel details to analyze and deploy data formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills. You will need to be highly organized, detailed oriented, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership/accountability.
  • Proven track record to document, automate and improve processes and influence changes cross-functionally to drive results.
  • Experience in a high-pressure production environment working w/ various constraints under a matrixed organization.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Direct experience working in a CM manufacturing environment and understands CM production line/shop floor concepts.
  • APICS certified and understands theoretical frameworks/concepts and likes to apply them to real-world problem/ solutions.
  • High capability to manage multiple assignments concurrently; requires excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, extremely agile/flexible with an attribute for growth and continuous learning
  • Strong sense of ownership, exceptional attention to detail and delivers results.

The base salary range is 84,000 USD - 184,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
