Job Summary:
TheBusiness Analyst/Procurement Manager is responsible for the technical analysis, training, and feasibility assessments associatedwith new software applications and implementation processes. In the Procurement Manager role, also administers all facetsof the purchasing process, travel and expense policy, within set organizational guidelines.

Procurement Management
Initiatesandcoordinatespurchasingprocess.
- Initiatesandmaintainsvendorresourcesandrelationshipswhilecontinuallyscoutingfor additional vendors.
- Conductscostanalyses,setsbenchmarksforimprovement,andcommunicatesaccordingly with management
- Evaluatesspendingoperationswhileseekingways toimproveandenhancethequalityofproductspurchasedandthetimelinessofdeliveries.
- Communicateswithmanagementregularlyregardingtheefficientflowofgoodsandservices
- Workscloselywiththelegaldepartmenttomakesurecontractsandtermsarefavorable
- Supervisesamatrixedpurchasingteamanddelegatestasksacrossdepartmentswhennecessary
- Developsriskmanagementprocedurestomitigatelossesintheeventofproductshortages
Specific Responsibilities
Administers travel policy in accordance with established travel and expense policy.
- Maintainstheintegrityofthepurchasingprocess.
- Initiatespurchaseorders;coordinatesallfacetsofthepurchasingprocess;follows through in accordance with established procedures.
- Developsandmaintainsvendorresourcesandrelationships.
- Preparesspecificationsforbids;evaluatescostsandmakesrecommendationsregarding vendor selection; monitors and conducts preliminary negotiations as directed.
- Preparescostanalyses,budgetdata,andotherreports.
- Maintainsfiles,inventoryandotherrecords
- Providesclericalsupportfromtimetotime.
- Assiststhefourdivisionmanagerswithspecialprojectsandsupport,whereneeded.
- Handlesadministrationoftravelpolicywithtravelagent.
- Bookstravelarrangementsforconstituentsaccordingtotravelpolicy.
- Performsotherrelateddutiesasrequired.
Qualifications:
- Five yearsofon-the-jobaccountingexperience.
- Bachelor’sdegree.
- Excellentpersonalcomputerskills.
