Supply Accounts Payable

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for senior-level Accounts Payable activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years related experience and/or training.

· Must successfully complete pre-employment drug test and a background check.

· Must have proof of U.S. Citizenship or a valid work visa.

· Must work well in a team environment and able to work with a diverse group of people.

· Ability to apply knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

· Must possess strong analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills; must be a highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated attention to detail.

· Must have high level of interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal/external customers.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and technical procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain vendor database/profile; Enter and code vendor invoices into database.

· Reconcile vendor statements.

· Correspond with suppliers and respond to vendor inquiries.

· Code expenses for proper ledger distribution.

· Obtain all required approvals.

· Process employee expense reports.

· Resolve account discrepancies.

· Process and follow up on rush items.

· Monitor A/P aging and collect on credits; A/P Run/Payment requests based on vendor terms.

· Monitor assigned GL accounts to ensure accuracy.

· Assist employees and vendors with A/P issues or questions as they arise.

· Understand and comply with all company A/P policies and procedures.

· General office duties as required such as filing, mail distribution, etc.

· Other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and demonstrate manual dexterity while performing job duties.

· Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time, paying attention to detail.

· Constant operation of standard office machines, including computer.

· Requires frequent ability to move freely about the office building.

ENVIRONMENT:

• Environment involved is regularly inside the office.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
