Job description

About this role:
This opportunity will drive Sustainable Finance activities using research, insights, and data to effectively deliver on Wells Fargo's $500B Sustainable Finance commitment. This individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across the bank to develop Sustainable Finance initiatives for climate transition and inclusive social development. This position can sit in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Community Impact & Sustainability Specialist.
In this role, you will:
  • Translate insights into actionable opportunities for the bank to finance clean energy, decarbonization, and sustainable activities
  • Collaborate with line of business partners to build out capabilities for Sustainable Finance
  • Conduct research in support of Sustainable Finance strategies, products and disclosures
  • Create content outlining Sustainable Finance strategy, products, and go-to-market approaches in partnership with the lines of business
  • Develop tools/solutions that support financing for the transition to a low-carbon economy
  • Serve as a SME to the lines of business and respond to Sustainable Finance-related requests
  • Assist with employee education to empower partners across the bank and drive client engagement
  • Facilitate information sharing across lines of business
  • Ensure compliance with Sustainable Finance frameworks and risk management policies

Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Community Impact or Sustainability experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working on climate, sustainable, clean energy or decarbonization initiatives
  • Experience translating insights into actionable sustainability opportunities
  • Experience utilizing market research and analysis to create compelling content and presentations
  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across multiple partners
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers
  • Experience managing multiple projects and concurrent work streams

  • 333 Market Street - San Francisco, CA ($100,800 - $179,200)
  • 1700 K Street, NW - Washington, DC ($92,400 - $164,400)

Pay Range
$92,400.00 - $179,200.00
