Ideal candidate needs to have the ability to tie/integrate Biomedical devices (specifically Philips devices, cardiac, anesthesia, ventilator monitors) into Epic. The two types of middleware products that H&H uses for integration purposes are NantHealth Software Solutions (DeviceConX or DCX) and Philips IntelliBridge Enterprise (IBE).

Sr. Clinical Integration Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise for implementation and enhancements to Biomedical systems uses at H&H. This individual will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive set of biomedical systems for all facilities. This individual will design, build and test the functions that are needed for our biomedical device integration with Epic.
Responsibilities:
- Implements and deploys the cardiac monitors, critical alerts and other biomedical systems so that they will be integrated with Epic.
- Ensures that the appropriate biomedical systems are in place to interfere with Epic for all facilities.
- Evaluates options and recommends the most effective strategy for meeting the biomedical system needs of all H&H clinical areas and facilities.
- Executes the research and testing of new biomedical device and integration technology.
- Configures biomedical systems middleware to be able to interface with Epic using the required middleware.
- Leads the testing effort for biomedical systems implementation.
- Coordinates all biomed tasks in conjunction with the Epic rollouts and planned integration deployments.
- Builds and tests a configuration that supports high availability and disaster recovery across their two data centers.
- Ensures that changes are managed and documented. Document software test plans, technical requirements, release notes, user and training guidelines and other materials.
- Performs application support functions including problem solving and resolution of application function defects. Arrange for systems and application training.
