Integration Specialist

Afficiency is a rapidly growing Insurtech startup whose mission is to provide life insurance to everyone on the platforms they already trust. Located in NYC, we design life insurance products that can be purchased entirely digitally and can be easily embedded into distribution platforms or with agents who sell insurance. About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integrations between various software systems, applications, and platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of APIs, data integration techniques, and system architecture, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.
• Develop and implement integrations between different software systems, databases, and applications using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and normalization to ensure data compatibility and consistency across integrated systems.
• Configure and customize software applications and platforms to support integration requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing of integrations to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues, including API failures, data synchronization errors, and connectivity problems.
• Document integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on using integrated systems effectively.

Must Have

Please note that this job is only hiring candidates that live in the Metro NYC area and can commute to the office 3 days during the week.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role, with a strong background in integrating software systems and applications.
• In-depth knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and other integration technologies.
• Experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary

$110,000-125,000 per year with excellent benefits.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid- style, must report to the office 3 days a week.
