Scheduling Coordinator Duties:
- Responsible for Office related functions that include, but are not limited to: answering office phone and fax line, acquisition of office supplies, maintaining general tidiness of office environment, etc.
- Responsible for HR related functions that include but are not limited to: management of employee clock in/out, timesheet processing, assistance with employee and client management, and assistance with daily office tasks and on-going office projects.
- May assist with employee supervision, as related to call-offs, schedule requests, supervisory visits, employee reviews and HR incidents involving, complaints, occurrences, incidents, etc.
- Able to articulate, to staff, the types of services that can be provided by a home care attendant/caregiver, including examples of limitations.
- May act as weekend on-call supervisor.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
- Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in performance of job functions.
- Maintaining and responding to emails and all inter-office communication
- Ensure that processes and actions comply with agency standard.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to communicate and understand return communication effectively in exchanges between the consumer, family representatives and other providers
- Have completed successfully completed and passed a written competency exam related to the agency home care attendant/caregiver training course.
- Additional related annual training that equals 12 hours each year.
- Have a year of administrative office experience (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of principles and procedures of home care attendant/caregiver and safety practices in the home care setting.
- Understanding of family interactions and aging process.
- Beginning skills in home care attendant/caregiver care.
- Ability to observe, report, and record client’s care and condition accurately.
- Ability to communicated effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, clients and families and agency staff members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
