We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This role will provide essential support to our office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Coordinate meetings, events and conferences for both internal staff and customers
- Partner with Facilities staff to maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Provide support to other team members as needed
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft including OneDrive, Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to organize and file documents in a computerized system
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Strong clerical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional phone etiquette with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with general office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
