Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a law firm or other professional service industry. We seek someone with a positive, upbeat attitude who is organized and can multitask efficiently.
Duties in this position include but are not limited to:
- Answering incoming calls
- Transferring calls to appropriate office personnel
- Taking detailed messages
- Greeting guests and clients with a smiling face
- Ordering and refilling supplies as needed
- Willing to step in when and where needed
- Day-to-day office operations
- Ensuring the office is opened and closed daily as per established schedules
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Knowledge of professional service organizations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Can maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with lawyers and support staff
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day
- Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset customers
