WB Warehouse is looking for a Receiving Specialist to accept and process deliveries. The Receiving Specialist's responsibilities include verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns.
To be successful as a Receiving Specialist you should be able to inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy items. Ultimately, a top Receiving Specialist should be able to ensure efficient receiving processes and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm
Receiving Specialist Responsibilities:
· Unload and receive in-bound freight, inspect and mark material as required.
· Count all products, compare your counts to the drivers’ manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
· Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
· Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
· Updating inventory with received items.
· Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
· Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
· Move, store and control inventory to and from warehouse locations to assure proper storage and inventory control.
· Records product received. Uses scanning equipment, as required, to register bar codes for tracking freight in Warehouse Management System.
· Sorts and places products on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined locations.
· Assist with physical inventories by use of scanners. Ensure proper stock rotation by following lot number identification. Perform cycle counts as required.
· Safely, effectively, and efficiently operates material handling equipment as required (lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) to perform daily duties/responsibilities.
Receiving Specialist Requirements:
· High school diploma/GED preferred.
· Previous warehouse experience. (2 years please)
· Good communication and organizational skills.
· Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
· Physical dexterity and experience operating forklifts.
· Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
· Basic math skills.
· Able to lift 50 lbs.
