Shipping and Receiving Specialist

We have a full-time opening on first shift for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to track and assist with moving product into and out of our climate-controlled facility. This position entails a combination of computer work, paperwork, and physical labor. A good driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.

Hours are 6:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday, with paid breaks during every shift. Pay range is $20 to $25 per hour depending on qualifications. Benefits include 401(k) with match, quarterly profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance, and a health reimbursement account (HRA) for dental and vision.

Primary responsibilities include serving as the driver for deliveries and pickups in the local area, as well as the backup for the S&R specialist currently on staff. Experience using JobBOSS and QuickBooks is a bonus, but not required. We will train the right individual who does not have any experience.

This job is ideal for someone who is:

· Dependable – more reliable than spontaneous

· Detail-oriented – must be able to pay attention to the detailed features of the part

Additional responsibilities include:

· Create labels, packing lists and bills of lading

· Call vendors for pickups

· Pack and wrap skids of finished products

· Unload trucks with forklift or straps

· Confirm paperwork for incoming materials and outgoing deliveries

· Bring materials to appropriate production machines
