AddressLoad and unload trucks, process and deliver incoming packages and mail, and prepare packages for courier pickup. Set up conference room chairs and tables for meetings, and relocate furniture, cabinets, and other items when requested.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
MAIL AND FREIGHT SUPPORT
- Receive, scan, check-in, sort and deliver inbound freight from trucks to corporate associates
- Create labels for outgoing packages
- Store shipment process: fill polybags or boxes with items to ship to stores, load UPS trailer
- Utilize manual pallet jacks, carts, and dollies
- Organize product and stored items in corporate buildings
- Process, sort, and deliver US Mail to mail slots or associates
- Proficient in creating UPS labels for outgoing packages
- Track packages upon request
- Meter outgoing mail
GENERAL FACILITIES SUPPORT
- Assist auditorium and conference room set ups by moving furniture to and from storage according to drawing provided.
- Clear items in office and cube areas as teams relocate
- Move office furniture and cabinets, as needed
- Open and shut down dock
- Keep supply room stocked and organized
- Maintain organization of product and other items in storage buildings
- Deliver printer paper to corporate printers
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- Work across all corporate shipping and receiving locations, as needed
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting
- Basic computer skills
- Physical activities including walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying and bending on a frequent basis
- Moderate lifting 50-75 lbs. of packages and totes, from ground up to six feet
- Pulling or pushing delivery carts weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Furniture and cabinet lifting up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Flexible and willing to shift priorities
- Other assigned tasks, as needed
PREFERRED
- Minimum one year experience shipping/receiving and mail center processes
- Able to use power tools for minor furniture repair or assembly
- Experience driving a box truck
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with scissor lifts and electric pallet jacks
