Assisted Living Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist

Position: Assisted Living Accounts Receivable Biller (Remote)

Summary/Objective

The role of the Assisted Living AR Biller is to actively review, bill, and collect all outstanding Accounts Receivable. Responsible for collecting all non-private monies due to the facility monthly. You will support and work daily with the facility Business Office staff to confirm all authorizations, medicaid eligibility, and census is accurate. You will post all payments received into PCC for both private and non-insurance deposits. You will work with a corporate billing team and assist with other facilities and duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Maintains basic knowledge of computer software and internet applications.

· Assists in answering resident billing issues. And Private Pay Refunds.

· Enter and maintain additional individual resident ancillary charges/services provided.

· Ensures that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential.

· Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information.

Requirements:

· 2 years of Assisted Living Facility billing experience in Wisconsin

· Knowledge and billing experience in billing the Managed Medicaid Waiver Plans.

· Knowledge of portals for accessing eligibility, claims, billing and payments.

· PCC experience preferred.

· An understanding of Medicare A/B and outpatient services provided in an ALF.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
