Job Summary

The Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG), Business Integration and Analytics Division seeks a highly skilled and motivated Product Solution Analyst to help transform services and offerings through delivery and support of products that enable execution of OIG's mission and purpose that bring OIG's vision to life. The Office of Inspector General strives to deliver leading edge background study, licensing, and program integrity services to promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adults. In support of this mission, the incumbent will:
  • Support the design and execution of the Provider Licensing Reporting Hub, Agency Licensing and Reporting Hub, and Program Integrity Hub products with empathy and customer/user centricity while maximizing value outcomes for users.
  • Test product releases against user story acceptance criteria, identify bugs and usability issues, and perform regression testing and communicate defects to the applicable cross-functional product team for resolution.
  • Enable user success and maximize value for all internal and external users of OIG Enterprise products through comprehensive and empathetic issue resolution and continuously evaluate and report user satisfaction, metrics, and feedback to the product manager.
  • Maintain product and user enablement features such as knowledge articles, translations, communications, and templates.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

2 years professional experience supporting a product or the product user experience.
Experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Assist product users with problem solving, troubleshooting, or education.
  • Validate and test product functionality and log defects.
  • Maintain product features or documentation such as templates, user guides, or knowledge articles.

A bachelor's degree in business, computer science or engineering, information systems or technology management, design or user experience, economics, psychology or behavioral science, data science or analytics, entrepreneurship, communications or public relations, or government administration may substitute for 1 year of professional experience;
OR
A master's degree in business, computer science or engineering, information systems or technology management, design or user experience, economics, psychology or behavioral science, data science or analytics, entrepreneurship, communications or public relations, government administration may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of the OIG programs and divisions, DHS and OIG's mission, values, and activities.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Knowledge of product management and agile development principles and practices.
  • Working and communicating effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
