Principal - Strategy & Business Operations

Atlassian is seeking a Principal in the Strategy and Business Operations (SBO) team who will support senior leaders in our Agile & DevOps business. In this role, you will partner with the leadership team to drive multi-year strategy for what will become the core of Atlassian’s product portfolio. Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $177,300 - $236,400

Zone B: $159,600 - $212,700

Zone C: $147,100 - $196,200

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Formulate and present strategy recommendations to Atlassian's executive team, including our CEOs, President and Heads of Product

• Partner directly with product leadership to help Atlassian achieve its revenue and user goals across an expanding set of target customers

• Identify and execute strategic projects that promote integration of key Atlassian products into a holistic portfolio of solutions

• Drive Business Operations content and cadences to deepen our understanding of performance and define and execute improvement initiatives in collaboration with a cross-functional team including product, marketing, sales, analytics, finance, and others

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in high growth SaaS/tech industry or consulting - product experience a strong plus; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

• Strong business sense and experience with Go-to-Market models in the B2B SaaS space

• Strong leadership and communication skills – written and verbal - to work with leaders across various geographies and functions; proficient with business and technical discussions

• Strong analytical skills - ability to analyse data, derive key insights, diagnose business issues, and craft narrative for executive audiences

• Passion for learning and innovation - build new methodologies and techniques to tackle business problems and/or attain a higher level of leadership responsibilities within the team
