The Payroll Specialist will process payroll for Education Alternatives , REACH Behavioral Health, Body Tonic, and Magnolia Management. This position will maintain all employee payroll records and process any necessary payroll and benefits updates to employees in ADP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance deductions, retirement deductions, mileage reimbursements, wage garnishments, hire date and separations in the appropriate database
- Uses ADP to process payroll for Magnolia Management Group, Education Alternatives, REACH Behavioral Health, CJ Hendry, Body Tonic.
- Works closely with Human Resources to ensure wages, deductions, and other payroll information is accurate
- Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments and/or locations
- Maintain payroll records by updating employee database in a timely manner from when change paperwork is received
- Prepares and issues direct deposit and live paychecks
- Process updates in payroll software for all payroll taxes, child support, and wage garnishments
- Assists in benefits administration, open enrollment, and approves invoices from benefit providers.
- Manages Affordable Care Act module in ADP.
- Perform general office duties, such as the production of reports, filing of financial information, and other job duties as needed
Education and/or Experience Associates Degree required; 2 years previous payroll experience required
