Sony Electronics has an excellent opportunity for a Federal Sales Account Manager within the Sony Professional Imaging Sales group.  The role would be responsible for selling/market development, establishing and maintaining end-user relationships and expanding professional imaging sales within Federal Government agencies and military branches.  This positions primary focus will be in the Washington DC area but will extend  nationally based on opportunities.


The successful candidate requires experience in working with and selling to Federal Government accounts.  They will have a strong understanding of Imaging Photo and Video technology, be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.


The Federal Government Account Manager will be responsible for developing a sustainable pipeline to achieve company revenue objectives. This position requires a team player that will work very closely with Sony Product Management, Marketing, Data Analyst and Pro Support teams.


Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree is required or equivalent
  • Must have 3-5 years related experience
  • Prior experience with developing and executing on sales to Federal accounts
  • Must have a Professional background, strong problem solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barriers.
  • Must be able to make professional and compelling presentations; communicate effectively to large and small audiences; and have strong organization and time management skills.


The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $73,000 to $97,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. 

 

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
