Reporting to the Sr Financial Analyst, the Payroll Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional quality service and effective communication with the team and external customers. In this position, responsibilities are to prepare and process accurate and timely multi-state and multi-jurisdiction full cycle payrolls. Will also assist with payroll tax activities, payroll tax returns, and research changing laws to ensure compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, and special full cycle payrolls including hours, PTO, garnishments, benefit deductions, etc.
· Review imports from generated reports in our time keeping software
· Coordinate with management for any missed or incomplete timesheets.
· Collaborate with team to ensure all payroll transactions are entered accurately and correctly.
· Provide prompt responses to employee questions about payroll related matters.
· Prepare and distribute Certified Payroll and prevailing wage with supporting documents.
· Partner with HR on all matters involving employees’ compensation, benefits, 401(k) contributions, HSA accounts, etc.
· Working knowledge of Federal and State labor and tax legislation and regulations.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax wage reporting and compliance with local, state, and federal government agencies.
· Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
· Other duties and special projects as assigned.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing and employment tax experience.
· Certified Payroll and prevailing wage experience, preferably in the construction industry.
· Prior Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Payroll systems such as ADP Workforce; Timberline/Vista/ProCore experience is a plus.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of multi-state payroll policies and procedures required.
· Demonstrated capability to work across functions/organizations and with contracted services.
· Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Associate degree or 5-10 years of equivalent work experience in Payroll/Benefits/HR Administration.
· Experience working in the Construction Industry strongly preferred.
· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and navigating spreadsheets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Travel – Less than 10%.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This work is performed in an office environment or in a designated meeting space such as a conference space

Pay: $78,248.00 - $84,661.00 per year
