We take care of our people so that you can do your best work. Manager, Payroll Operations We are seeking a Manager, Payroll Operations to join our team.

Insperity Payroll Services (IPS) is a start up business and this position must possess an entrepreneurial attitude and a commitment to roll up their sleeves and create a "Premium" experience for customers. Responsibilities include developing strategies for zero-defect implementation of new customers, support of existing customers and timely delivery of processed payrolls. This position also takes the lead on managing escalated customer issues with IT and the tax group to facilitate timely resolutions.

Responsibilities Monitors customer satisfaction indicators via customer satisfaction survey results, proactive calls to customers, quality service checks and service observations of staff. Builds implementation and customer service teams based on growth and productivity and developing, coaching, mentoring and leading team memebers for sustained individual and team performance. Participates in HCM MidMarket customer setup review and analysis of expectations with the HCM implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.

Analyzes current performance data, develops a conceptual idea or vision and then develops systems, processes and plans that are executable, realistic and results-oriented that result in service improvement. Understands and is able to communicate and discuss payroll compliance, tax research and payroll report analysis for small to mid-sized business, with an owner, payroll contact or CPA. Leads and coaches teams through a development process that is team and customer focused.

Supports process and audits efforts to ensure integrity and accountability for SOC-1. Leads team including implementation and operations specialists in delivering premium service to customers. Establishes goals and objectives for personal and professional improvement of self and staff.

Conducts performance evaluations and development plans with direct reports along with formal and informal coaching and counseling customers. Ensures effective facilitation of new hire training and orientation. Provides supporting documentation for headcount and fiscal budgetary purposes; maintains forecasting data and ensures controls are in place to maintain budgetary goals.

Identifies and engages service solutions within and outside IPS. Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Companygoals. Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Companygoals.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor. Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field is preferred.

Five to seven years of experience in a high growth payroll operation, leading teams and designing process and procedures. CPP Certification required. Ability to hire, train and manage teams.

Customer service experience in a team environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Effective problem solving/decision making/conflict resolution skills.

Possesses broad based exposure to various HR disciplines and understanding of their role and impact on business as it relates to payroll, benefits, taxation, accounting, employment documentation, and employment and general HR practices. Proficient in design and delivery of concise and clear presentations to a broad audience. Demonstrated ability in handling multiple projects; acts as core business unit expert for key company initiatives; facilitate and coordinate testing and information gathering sessions for valuable feedback; mentors and guides direct reports to participate as needed for professional development.

Proficient use of MicrosoftTM Office programs and demonstrated ability to learn other application programs as needed. At Insperity, we celebrate the diversity of our employees and our leadership.
