Automotive Experience is a must!
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with compliance and systems support in regard to all applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to HIPAA, FMLA)
- Process calculations for Workers Comp accounting and payments
- Report injuries for Worker’s Comp and OSHA reporting log
- Submit and balance 401k payments, process loans and assist with yearly audit
- Process payroll calculations, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
- Handle Unemployment claims
- Monitor time cards for discrepancies on ADP Portal
- Enter payroll data into ADP system
- Reconcile all benefits medical, dental, vision, vacations etc.
- Process the payroll cycles and reconcile the employee paychecks
- Provide guidance to associates to ensure compliance with all FMLA requirements
- Responsible for compliance of HR related matters (e.g. I-9s)
- Conducts New Hire orientation
- Sets up training process for all new hires in Compli and ensure completion
Administrative Duties
- Special Assignments and tasks assigned to assist Controller
Qualifications
- Automotive Experience Required
- 2-3 years of HR generalist experience or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and documentation skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with CDK, Hireology, Compli and Advent systems a plus
- Ability to interpret Employment Law (Federal and State) and general HR policies.
- Ability to collect, compile and analyze information and data.
- Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization both in person and through written correspondence and presentations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
