Job Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk are reviewing and auditing timesheets, following up with Supervisors/Managers with any pending punches.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Daily Missed Punch Report- Daily Employee Transfers
- Daily Meal & Rest Period Premium
- Daily Timesheets for Terms
- Weekly Production Supervisor Attendance
- Audit Timesheets and other to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Issue and record adjustment to pay related to previous errors on retroactive increased and request retro checks.
- Timecard Corrections
- Tracking any Duplicate Accrual Requests
- Tracking Department Scheduled Hours
- Tracking Accruals and related payments
- HRIS Questions and changes in system.
- Employee Questions regarding payroll checks.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high quality work; sense of urgency and willingness to be hands on with tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and solid understanding of technology to be more efficient.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- 2 year degree a plus.
- 1+ years or more of professional experience required.
- 1+ years or more of Payroll preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
