Now hiring Certified Payroll/HR Clerk.
Arrow Construction is currently seeking a Certified Payroll/HR Clerk for our Sacramento office.
Arrow Construction is an Underground Utility Contractor specializing in wet and dry utilities, directional drilling, potholing, patch paving, and concrete restoration work throughout Northern California.
Job duties included but were not limited to:
- Complete daily timekeeping in a timely manner with a minimum of errors.
- Willing to work extra time when required to accomplish this.
- Review / approved equipment daily.
- Support the superintendents and foreman with their timekeeping needs.
- Knowledge of Certified Payroll Report and upload to the DIR website.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced working environment.
- Manage Health Insurance Premiums.
- Assist with new hire orientations when needed.
- Take responsibility for punctuality. Do not abuse or take advantage of personal time off.
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Payroll/ HR experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to interface with other Arrow Construction personnel, customers, and vendors in potentially confrontational issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
This position will be performed at our headquarters in Sacramento, CA. (NOT A REMOTE POSITION)
Job Type: Full-Time M-F
Pay: Hourly rate (will depend on experience).
All applicants must have a current CA driver's license with a clean driving record; and be able to pass drug, pre-employment physical, and background tests.
