Hr Assistant/Payroll Clerk

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and wants to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR system Isolved

- Condense payroll reports from 17 locations to spreadsheets for payroll processing

- Support employee relations by addressing employee questions and concerns, escalating issues as necessary

- Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance

- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Experience with HRIS systems such as Isolved

- Understanding of workers' compensation processes and requirements

- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
