Primary Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, both onsite and remote. Experience with multi-state payroll compliance is a plus.
- Update employee profiles in Paylocity and benefits programs.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees and coordinate with Recruiting personnel.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure proper recording of payroll expenses.
- Serve as liaison to benefits providers and brokers.
- Research and provide insight toward best payroll practices and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Qualifications:
- Have 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing using third-party systems (Paylocity a plus).
- Have a working knowledge of benefits programs, such as health plans, 401k and worker’s compensation.
- Be certified or degreed in a payroll or HR inclusive program.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Notary Certification is a plus and will be compensated.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
