GNSA is a professional outsourced service provider of payroll services, Human Resource Management Systems, workers compensation and benefits administration, and time and attendance solutions to our small to mid-sized client base. We are currently seeking an additional Customer Service Specialist / Payroll Specialist to join our fast-paced team environment.
Job Duties Include:
- Supporting client queries regarding payroll, tax, benefits via email and phone
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll for our roster of clients
- Researching and resolving any problems on client’s account
- Preparation and shipping of sensitive client and employee pay statements and yearly tax forms
- Preparing periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions as requested by the client or employee
- Assisting team members with projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- Proven excellence in Customer Service -- must be able to, and enjoy, speaking with people (our clients)
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook
- Comfort with Office Equipment (telephone, printer/copier)
- Attention to Detail as well as excellent Organization, Planning and Prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from multiple sources and offer assistance where needed
- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
- Enjoy learning and applying new skills quickly
- *Attendance: This full-time position requires regular and punctual attendance adhering to the department schedule set in accordance with company needs.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1-2 years of office-related experience and/or training
- 1-2 years Payroll Customer Service
