- Provide administrative support to a busy paving office
- Assist with invoicing, job costing, and adding sales commissions
- Perform data entry into QuickBooks
- Organize the office and files
- Handle Accounts Receivable
- Contact past-due accounts to collect payments
- Starting pay: $20-$25/hour, depending on experience
Leacock Paving LLC is looking for a Part-Time Office Assistant who embodies our faith-based values while interacting with our customers. We provide asphalt paving for residential, agricultural, and commercial properties. We are a faith-based company that values our team and our customers. While we focus on providing superior work, we place the highest priority on customer service. If you have experience with general office duties, including customer interactions, data entry, and computers, please consider joining our friendly, tight-knit team.
Our Ideal Office Administrative Assistant:
- Experienced: Previous office experience with the ability to use computer software and file management systems; basic math skills are needed. A notary license, or willingness to get one, is preferred.
- Computer Savvy: Strong typing skills. Experience with Office 365, Word, & Excel. QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Detailed: Strong organizational skills with great attention to accuracy and consistency.
- Friendly: Enjoys being part of a team and working with others. Has a warm and inviting manner with our customers via phone, in-person, or email.
- Respectful: Able to call customers regarding past due bills while being compassionate and exhibiting our Christian values to everyone. Understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Team Player: Driven to contribute your skills to the team; eager to take on responsibilities and grow in your position.
- Travel Required: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for use of the company car when traveling to the notary.
