```Duties```

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure proper recording of transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Utilize accounting software (such as Xero) to perform daily tasks efficiently

```Qualifications```

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
- Proficient in using accounting software and tools for financial management
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.99 - $24.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
