Bookkeeper/Accountant

Our companies cultivate and sell cannabis products locally in Oregon. We are seeking to hire a talented bookkeeper/Accounting Manager to join our growing team of professionals. This is not a remote job and you will be required to come into our dog friendly and conveniently located office.

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage a small accounting team (Currently 2) in order to:

- Maintain QBs for multiple companies, prepare financial reports and provide financial analysis.
- Ensure books are kept in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare payroll for multiple companies, including filing all Federal and State quarterly returns related to payroll
- Preparation of all Oregon State tax forms
- Perform all activities related to accounts payable including reviewing coding and processing payments
- Perform all activities related to accounts receivable, including invoicing, deposits collections, and revenue recognition.
- Assist with external and internal audit requests, including quarterly reviews and year-end audits
- Interact with CPA to assist in the preparation of 1065, 1120 Federal Tax Returns

Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent preferred
- Advanced knowledge of QBs
- 3-5 years experience as a bookkeeper working with complex issues
- Communication skills a must

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• General ledger accounting: 3 years (Required)
• GAAP: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
