If you enjoy a fast-paced start-up environment where you get to be a part of building something, this may be for you! One of Central Oregon’s rapidly growing start-ups is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to perform full cycle accounting and financial reporting.
What You Get to Do!
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Process customer billings.
- Complete sales tax reports.
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings.
- Record financial data to produce financial records.
- Enter journal entries to debit and credit the company’s accounts.
- Generate accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable,
expenditures, and profits and losses.
- Reconcile and report differences or issues found in financial records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring...
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of six years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the
manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
- Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps or similar software.
- QuickBooks and/or Fishbowl experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a rapidly growing and changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing finances within a manufacturing sector, especially with a lens towards deferred revenues.
Prior experience in migrating from QuickBooks to an ERP system.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
