Office Assistant (Aerospace) (Arlington)
Growing company with competitive wages and benefits is looking for an Office Assistant.
This position will start as part time and may become full time as needed.
Duties include:
Accounts Payable.
- Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables.
- Track purchase orders to venders and post vender bills upon receipt.
- Manage vender relations.
- Calculate and process Payroll accurately—including hours, taxes, and benefits deductions—and ensuring timely payment to employees.
- Coordinate with and report to, Employment security, Labor and Industries, Department of Revenue and medical insurance provider.
- Knowledge of employment laws helpful.
- Reconciling accounts
- Perform general clerical duties, which can include emailing, photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Required Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software. Must have knowledge of Quickbooks.
- Knowledge of JobBoss² helpful but not required.
- Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to details.
- Organize workload and adjust to changing deadlines.
- Have a proactive approach to duties and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
