How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Air Liquide Electronics (ALEUS) is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician. The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:
Performs maintenance tasks including the execution of MAXIMO work orders
Knowledge of the Safe Work Permit Process including preparing Pre-Job Plans, executing complex LOTOs, hot work safety, and confined space safety
Strong, innovative troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment including compressors, expanders, etc.
Able to plan complex mechanical projects from project scoping to implementation including preparing a scope of work, bidding out projects to contractors, scheduling, and overseeing contractor quality of work.
Able to evaluate spare parts and make strong recommendations on gaps in spare parts maintained.
Familiar with pipefitter and millwright terminology and technical knowledge of materials such as gaskets, fitting, and piping.
Familiarity with technical drawings including P&IDs, PFDs, equipment drawings, and isometric drawings.
Strong relationship with subject matter experts..
Strong understanding of compressors including: working with SMEs/OEMs to overhaul compressor, intercooler bundle replacement/troubleshooting/cleaning, and troubleshooting/repairing oil system
Strong understanding of turbines including: working with SME/OEM to remove, install, and change out of cartridges, knowledge of auxiliary equipment including oil pumps, seal gas, demister, etc, and check/verify charge of accumulator (lube oil system)
Able to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul pumps
Able to change gaskets, valves, fittings, etc
Certified in Air Liquide’s oxygen cleaning procedure
Personal commitment to reliability improvement
Assist other maintenance crafts as needed
Ability to work callouts, nights, week-ends, & possible holidays

Comply with all Air Liquide Policies & Procedures

Are you a MATCH?
High school diploma or equivalent
8 yrs + in plant maintenance activities (pipefitting or millwright) preferred
Able to use precision tools to obtain critical measurements
Able to document as-found and as-left measurements
Proficient in the use of the CMMS system
Knowledgeable in safe work practices, safety procedures and other safety requirements
Knowledgeable in emergency procedures
Knowledge of compressors and pumps, different types, sizes, fluids and designs
Expertise in the proper methods of locking out and blinding of rotating equipment
Be able to distinguish all possible sources of energy in a system
Expertise in operation of the following equipment - Forklift and JLG
Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs
Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces
Able to work in non-conditioned environment for extended periods
Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work
The hourly rate range for this position in Arizona is $35.00 to $40.00
