Title: Mortgage Administrative Assistant

Salary: $40,000- $50,000

Description:

The Ulmer Team at Crosscountry is seeking a diligent and organized Mortgage Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our mortgage department, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer Phones- Direct Phone Calls
  • Manage Lead Tracker
  • Manage Gifting
  • Manage Branch Manager's Calendar
  • Assist mortgage loan officers with administrative tasks such as document preparation, file management, and communication with clients.
  • Organize and maintain mortgage files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to schedule appointments and facilitate the mortgage process.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients and internal staff promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the processing of mortgage applications, including gathering necessary documentation and verifying information.
  • Perform data entry and update databases with mortgage-related information.
  • Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving departmental goals.
  • Stay updated on mortgage industry regulations and best practices.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in mortgage lending or administration is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with mortgage processing software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx Point) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
