The Ulmer Team at Crosscountry is seeking a diligent and organized Mortgage Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our mortgage department, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer Phones- Direct Phone Calls
- Manage Lead Tracker
- Manage Gifting
- Manage Branch Manager's Calendar
- Assist mortgage loan officers with administrative tasks such as document preparation, file management, and communication with clients.
- Organize and maintain mortgage files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to schedule appointments and facilitate the mortgage process.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and internal staff promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the processing of mortgage applications, including gathering necessary documentation and verifying information.
- Perform data entry and update databases with mortgage-related information.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving departmental goals.
- Stay updated on mortgage industry regulations and best practices.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or administration is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with mortgage processing software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx Point) is a plus.
- Knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
