Job Description
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Evaluation: Annually by the Building Principal
Job Goal: To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Performs usual office routines.
- Maintains such student records as shall be required.
- Receives and routes all incoming calls.
- Maintains a daily teacher attendance log and the records for substitute teachers.
- Acts as a resource to parents providing them with requested information.
- Attends to health room needs in absence of nurse.
- Maintains accurate demographic information on all students in the student database.
- Maintains a log of visitors to the school.
- Maintains a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions of the school.
- Assumes responsibility for the receipt and expenditure of school funds.
- Prepares and analyzes all financial statements.
- Reconciles all bank accounts maintained by the school.
- Maintains continuous internal auditing program for all funds.
- Prepares reports to the proper staff concerning the status of their budgetary accounts.
- Operates word processors, computers, calculators, copiers, and facsimile machines.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.

- Various contract days

Position beginning approximately August 1, 2023 and concluding approximately June 1, 2024.
