Medical Office Receptionist

Looking for a Full Time Medical Receptionist for our office.

The person will need to be proficient in the use of computers, have good typing skills, good communication skills, comfortable with working with Electronic Medical Record and be capable of multitasking.

We need energized self motivated, caring ,pleasant team oriented individual with a positive attitude, ready to learn and work hard.

Need to be able to work in a fast paced environment which involves multitasking while maitaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Answer phones and schedule appointments

Verify insurances and collect co payments from patients

Collect data from patients and enter in the EMR

Cleans and maintains exam rooms and stocks clinical supplies and equipment.

Obtain referral to see specialists

Call for prior authorizations when required

Communicate with the clinician and patients, answering questions or reporting labs and messages.

Needs to work one weekday evening and on alternate Saturdays.

Qualification and skills:

Good communication skills with ability to clearly communicate test results and messages and document legibly

Good organizational skills

Prior experience of working in a Medical Office

Should be able to enter data in EMR
