Seeking Front Desk Professional for Audiology Practice
Thriving Audiology practice in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, looking for a mature, charismatic, reliable medical Office Receptionist. Our Patient Care Coordinator has the unique position of being the greater of our practice and it is extremely important that this individual exudes the personality of the office. This person checks-in and out patients, creates invoices and collects payments, as well as schedule follow-up appointments. Communicating freely with the specialists is also necessary.
Patience and compassion are imperative. Our ideal candidate is an independent thinker who is self-motivated. He/she also has computer knowledge, specifically utilizing Google Drive and its applications, and is detail-oriented.
JOB DESCRIPTION

- Greet our patients via the telephone and in person
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Processing patient payments
- Collect insurance information
- Accessing records through online electronic medical record system
- Compose, address, and mail correspondence with the patients and physicians
- Strong use of the English language, grammar, and spelling
- Legible handwriting is a big plus
- ALWAYS staying professional with patients and their loved ones
- Show patience and accommodate our patients when needed
- Strive to create accurate and appropriate appointments for our patients
- Listen to patient stories and look for remarkable notes
- Maintain high standards but not afraid to fail and receive constructive criticism
- Volunteer ideas if there are possible improvements to office protocol
- Organize Front Office, including filing, receiving and distributing mail and parcels, tracking and reporting practice statistics
- Perform sales-related duties as assigned to include basic paperwork and sales agreements, as well as sales conversations with patients
- Participate in company and office meetings and training programs as required
- Light housekeeping around the office, including restocking supplies, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Customer service experience in a medical/dental setting, hospitality or spa environment
- Some college education required
- Ability to pass a background check
