Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Legal Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our law office. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately
- Perform general office management duties
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with office management software such as QuickBooks is a plus
- Experience working in a legal or medical office environment is highly desirable
- Strong typing skills and ability to transcribe accurately
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
