Legal Assistant Wanted

We’re a growing Personal Injury law firm looking for a Legal Assistant. We need this employee to assist with requesting medical records. If you are looking for a professional work environment with great benefits, this is the job for you. We prefer candidates who have a background in personal injury law but will train the right, motivated candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Request Medical Records
• Save and name documents received to the client’s file
• Calendar any deadlines assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year experience in an office setting
• Minimum of High school Diploma or (Associates Degree)
• Ability to self-start and time manage
• Organizational and time-management skills required
• Moderate computer skills required, involving scanning and uploading

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong Writing skills

· Some Personal Injury Litigation experience

· Experience working in a law firm
