About Us
We are a solo, general civil litigation firm, practicing primarily in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, and family law. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will serve as the primary liaison between the firm and Mandarin-speaking clients and between clients and third parties such as insurance adjusters and medical providers. Other duties will include preparing correspondence; organizing and maintaining client files; and general office administrative duties. Our firm culture is we are utterly serious about doing good work, but we do not take ourselves too seriously.
Health care provided after 3 months. Eligible for bonuses.
Qualifications
Good communication skills are essential for this position. Candidate must be highly organized. Prior experience working in a law firm or prior experience with personal injury cases is preferred, but we would choose someone who is the right fit over someone with more experience. Candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. This is an in-person position.
Pay
For the Legal Assistant position, starting pay is $3,000/month for someone with no prior legal experience.
For the paralegal position, starting pay is $3,333.33/month for someone with no prior legal experience.
