Personal injury law firm seeks candidates for Legal Assistant position in Southwest Austin.
Responsibilities:
- Filing and answering phone calls
- Setting up claims with insurance companies
- Meeting with clients in person and over the phone
- Assist clients in coordinating their medical care
- Ordering medical records
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Record and store client information
- Other general office duties.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in personal injury claims
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
