We are looking to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant with exceptional administrative and client communication skills. Our Administrative Assistants are expected to work comfortably under pressure with tight deadlines in a very fast-paced environment. Most of your work will be dome remotely, but there will be times you need to come into our Houston office.
To ensure success, Legal Administrative Assistants should be detail-oriented, exercise sound judgment, and must have exceptional communication skills with a keen interest in providing purposeful support to lawyers and paralegals, and top customer relations to our clients. You are the first voice a client hears when they call us, so every call has to be professional and welcoming. Top candidates will possess incredible accuracy, strong computer skills, and excellent time management. You need not be familiar with legal principles (we'll train you), although having them is definitely a plus.
Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
You'll spend a majority of your time on the phone with clients and prospective clients setting appointments for attorneys and paralegals.
You will also be responsible for all administrative elements of the firm's operations such as billing, collections, correspondence processing, so the attorneys and paralegals can concentrate on providing legal services to our clients.
Daily record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents.
- Obtain relevant information from clients, courts, and third parties.
- Create and organize information, and generate reference tools for easy use by the office.
- Occasionally prepare and format legal and management reports.
- Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.
- Respond to all calls and general email correspondence.
- Ensure efficient and effective administrative information and assistance.
Legal Administrative Assistant Requirements:
Be able to work remotely free of distractions.

Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Google Workspace applications.
