About This Role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team, focusing on enriching learning initiatives and contributing to organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and technology tools to create engaging learning experiences. As a key team member, you'll collaborate closely with subject matter experts, leveraging your proficiency in instructional design to craft materials aligning with organizational goals. Your creative and analytical mindset will seamlessly blend intellectual and physical aspects within our business, ensuring a cohesive and enriching learning journey for our employees.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop effective learning programs, including engaging materials such as presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on activities, to address organizational training needs.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and the creation of learning materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate instructional elements seamlessly, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams during the implementation of learning initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in instructional design methodologies.
- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content development and technical writing or online instructional design.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and facilitating training programs.
- Proficiency in using instructional design tools and software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- Demonstrated knowledge of L&D principles for aligning training with organizational goals and supporting employee development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.
