What You'll Do
Gabb is looking for an Instructional Designer to help facilitate the company's rapid growth! This individual will assist in the analysis, design, & development of our training programs here at Gabb. Gabb's learning solutions include: Instructor-led Training, Virtual Instructor-led Training, eLearning courses, and more. Additionally you will be responsible for:
- Work with other departments' subject matter experts to identify goals, analyze needs, and design & deliver training online & in person.
- Create material that helps employees understand Gabb's processes, products, and systems (job aids, quick reference guides, etc.)
- Demonstrate efficiency through analysis of departmental needs and managing projects, in addition to developing engaging courses in our LMS.
- Contribute to e-learning & instructor-led training experiences for new and experienced Gabb employees, including curriculum development and refinement.
- Contribute to our courses' analysis & new iterations, and appropriate delivery methods, based on an understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Design learning activities, assignments, and assessments to certify learning outcomes.
What You'll Need
- 1+ year(s) of experience in instructional design and virtual training
- Degree or certification in instructional design strongly preferred
- Background and familiarity with call center training and customer support learning modules
- Analytical & design skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Articulate 360 is strongly preferred
- Experience with Schoox/UKG Pro Learning is a plus
- Familiarity with multimedia technology (particularly the Adobe suite), and the ability to create assets for the courses developed are strongly preferred
- In-person classroom or in-person training experience is a plus
- Experience in project management and project management tools is a plus.
