We have worked with our current client for the past 15 years and they are looking for a Human Resources Generalist for a possible Direct Hire opportunity based out of the Romulus area, Mi. location. The HR Generalist will be responsible for but not limited to leading and directing routine HR functions, recruiting, hiring, and interviewing, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company polices and practices.
Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:
- HR Administration the implementation and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines
- Payroll
- Recruiting and Staffing
- Employee Relations
- Training and Development
- Performance Management
- FMLA Administration
- Assist in OSHA and MIOSHA records
- Understanding local, state, and federal legal requirements
- Assists with new employee onboarding
- Administers disability and worker's compensation claims
- Outstanding written, verbal, time management and problem-solving skills
8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday – Friday 55K – 60K based on experience

Human Resources Generalist Skills Needed:
- Experience in Human Resources or related field
- Ability to build and maintain a positive relationship with colleagues
- Ability to self-motivate
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
