Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate and facilitate with operations leadership and the Human Resource team on employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, employee concerns, career counseling and recognition.
  2. Coach and mentor leadership and associates to improve working relationships, promote open communication and support a challenging and rewarding work environment.
  3. Utilize human capital management, or HCM, software (UKG) to ensure accurate and timely associate information.
  4. Support and at times lead change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership and accountability for change.
  5. Work with Human Resource leadership to identify and assess business needs for associate and leadership development and training. Coordinate with business and HR leadership to deliver cross-functional and on-the-job training. Collaborate to develop effective training interventions including performance appraisals, giving and receiving feedback, competency assessment and leadership development.
  6. Attend weekly meetings with internal business stakeholders and on-site staffing vendor (when applicable) to address turnover, staffing or employee relations concerns as well as staffing forecast and planning.
  7. Collaborate with internal partners to assess associate performance and make recommendations for associate development.
  8. Effectively manage contractor transition and onboarding in partnership with leadership and the on-site staffing vendor.
  9. Work with HR Leadership and operations leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition, retention, assessment and succession planning strategies.
  10. Assist in establishing and achieving people metrics that support and drive business results.
  11. Be accountable for relative data and metrics associated to your business units on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
  12. Monitor legislative compliance in ADAC processes and procedures. Address and recommend solutions for issues of non-compliance if they arise.
  13. Act as associate liaison for payroll, compensation and benefits inquiries.
  14. Partner with operations leadership and environmental health and safety to ensure a safe and healthy work environment through education, training and investigation.
  15. Manage HR projects and initiatives that support business strategies and opportunities, with special emphasis on HRIS systems integration and ability to navigate all Human Resources software systems, becomes a subject matter expert in this area.

Required Education & Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree or associates degree with related work experience
  2. 7 or more years of progressive Human Resource experience, including previous employee relations experience
  3. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  4. 3 or more years of in depth knowledge of HRIS systems and their set-up

Preferred Education & Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources
  2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  3. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification
  4. UKG, Workday, Ceridian or ADP HRIS Software Experience

  6. Ability to facilitate both small and large groups in formal presentations, working meetings, business reviews and informal discussions
