Job Overview:
Essential Duties: onboarding, training, recording keeping, retention as well as monitoring employee morale and supporting leadership through a variety of human resource functions.
Summary: Helps ensure the Core Values of York Repair are adopted and promoted. Ensures training and reviews are completed in a timely manner, conducts research, as directed, and regularly works on projects to assist leadership, whenever necessary.
Regularly completes surveys and assists with reviews to keep a pulse on both performance and company morale. This individual plays a vital role in preventing human relation issues that would potentially hinder employee morale and work productivity. Works with the Office Manager to ensure policies and laws are followed to foster safety and professionalism as well as mitigate litigation; may serve as a mediator and/or record keeper when human relation issues arise.
Responsibilities: The following list contains key responsibilities; additional work may be assigned.
- Assists in the hiring process by scheduling in-person interviews for leadership; following up with all applicants.
- Conducts background checks and sets up drug screens and physicals.
- Serves as an advisor to leadership on hiring decisions.
- Assists Office Manager with writing employment offers.
- Plays an integral role in welcoming new employees and effectively onboarding them.
- Assists the Office Manager, and other leadership, with documentation and record keeping.
- Assists leadership with performance issues and both employee discipline and improvement plans.
- Sends out human relation notices for leadership, as directed.
- Helps organize and schedule Quarterly Reviews for leadership.
- Conducts employee surveys.
Qualifications: An Associate’s Degree; however a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field, is highly preferred. Other key qualifications and skills include:

- Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and meets deadlines.
- Ability to foster good relations with employees at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to skillfully gather and analyze information.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations.
- Ability to take direction from other leaders and receive constructive criticism.
- Familiarity with Employment Law and Compliance.
- Strong verbal and written skills as well as computer literacy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
