The Human Resources Director manages the Human Resources functions necessary to support the center's needs and requirements successfully.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the Center maintains the highest level of Data Integrity in all reporting of Center statistics and metrics.
- Monitors all personnel and employment practices to ensure compliance to federal, state and local laws.
- Supervises preparation of all reports required by contract and the Corporation.
- Administers wage and salary program' monitors merit increase program to ensure internal equity.
- Administers employee benefits program.
- Initiates center Human Resources directives.
- Functions as center EEO Officer, writes Affirmative Action Plans, assists Corporate Human Resources department in investigating and resolving EEO charges.
- Monitors center worker's compensation and OSHA programs.
- Ensures compliance with all contractual requirements relative to the Human Resources function.
- Develops and implements staff development and training program.
- Prepares and conducts performance evaluations.
- Provides staff training to center management personnel as it relates to Human Resources.
Minimum: Candidate must have three years Human Resources experience; applicant must be skilled in the areas of policy administration, compensation, and rewards management. Must be able to conduct data analysis relating to Human Resources metrics. Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
Preferred: Minimum qualifications plus bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field, Labor relations experience and supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
