The Human Resources and Administrative Director is responsible to develop and implement recruitment, talent acquisition, and retention strategies that align with the vision of the company and Operator. He or she works directly with the Operator and Directors to meet all staffing needs, ensuring you have the right people on the team in the right places. This person will also assist the Operator with Administrative duties including, but not limited to, back office management, processing email, taking phone calls and team communication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition
- Sourcing and Recruiting - Internally and externally network and develop talent pools; attend career fairs; present an attractive brand to potential candidates, resulting in more quality applicants; write job descriptions; initiate vision for recruiting materials
- Interviewing and Selection
- Team Members: process applications and host interviews weekly; interview top candidates; schedule/coordinate second interview with the appropriate director; coordinate orientation details to selected candidates
- Leadership: attend career fairs; post job openings through online job sites; process resumes; administer screening phone interviews; select candidates and administer first of five in-person interviews; schedule following interviews with pointed interviewer; remain point of contact throughout the interview process
- Assisting in operations when needed
- Process biweekly payroll to Process store mail and email
- Participate in weekly directors meetings
Retention Initiatives:
- Constantly assess team morale through observation and speaking with staff from all levels, increasing retention and protecting brand
- Plan and execute Team Member outings such as christmas party, summer party and team appreciation week
- Coordinate Team Member assessment tools to evaluate morale; plan follow up meetings with sample groups and leadership to discuss results
- Communicate quickly and efficiently with Team Member requests and needs (i.e. assisting with health insurance inquiries, uniform request, relationships with staff, direct deposit, etc.)
