Essential Job Responsibilities
- Be the glue on hiring initiatives and outreach. Communicate issues and trends in labor supply shortages and impediments to attracting the right talent.
- Work with the Site HR Manager, the Corporate CHRO, and HR peers in creating and updating our employment brand image, recruiting workflows and aligning our staffing approach to workforce staffing plan.
- Keep current a recruitment plan and share gaps and hindrances with Site HR Manager for creative problem solving.
- Support employment branding initiatives.
- Establish credible relationships with site location supervisors and managers across the facilities, conveying service level standards to ensure their staffing needs will be solved on a timely basis, key performance metrics will be met, and service level agreements will be achieved.
- Establish credible relationships with key recruiting agency partnerships to ensure quality candidates are assigned, reduced costs to hire are achieved, and conversion rate of talent to permanent employee status is the shared goal.
- Work within KPI’s established by Site HR Manager to measure staffing effectiveness, quality candidate experiences and quality of hires.
- Communicate root causes of recruiting inefficiencies, and work with Site HR Manager to develop workable solutions.
- Coordinate all onboarding activities of sourced talent to ensure there is the lowest impact to productivity hours possible (efficient paperwork processing, appropriate security on boarding/badge creation, security access, training and shift schedule awareness)
- Office Coordination of positive employee engagement activities for the Site.
- Front door presence/ ordering of office supplies and other coordination activities as necessary.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Achievements:
- Demonstrated passion and interest in Talent Acquisition / Recruiter function with an appreciate of the needs of a manufacturing and non-exempt population..
- Competence in following a workforce planning and recruitment strategy and /or accomplishing a high-volume work order of personnel.
- Comfort in using technologies available.
- Effective and accomplished in a high volume, demanding recruitment environment.
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

What You'll Do
- HR system administration including new hire and termination processing, salary administration, and performance review processes.
- Recruiting hourly positions, scheduling/conducting interviews, drafting offer letters, processing background checks, and compiling and distributing new hire orientation manuals.
- Administering hourly employee schedules and managing the employee bid process while working closely with the operations teams to assure accuracy and meeting the business needs.
- Help oversee timekeeping and employee payroll questions.
- Help champion employee engagement and community outreach initiatives focused on driving workplace of choice initiatives and corporate presence in the community.
- Support the HR Manager in employee relations matters and investigations as needed.
- Act as an administrator for the local HRIS system and will be responsible for maintaining employee records and data.
- Assist the HR Manager in data analysis, including but not limited to, attendance trends, employee relations matters, and other pertinent information to be used for developing/supporting strategic initiatives.
- Training support such as sending course invitations, reserving rooms and A/V equipment, compiling participant manuals, and tracking course attendance.
- Preparation of monthly reports including headcount, manufacturing safety statistics, and turnover.
- Other duties as directed by the HR Manager may include invoice processing, filing, copying, scheduling meetings, creating presentations, the annual HR budget into the HR system, and any other administrative duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Human Resources Professional with ability to work independently while setting priorities and meeting deadlines
- Business-partner mentality focused on partnering with the operations team to drive and optimize employee experience
- High level of attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about data and helping to facilitate data-driven decisions through monthly reporting and data analysis
- 1 year of HR and/or scheduling experience preferred in a manufacturing environment OR entry-level recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field
- Very strong computer skills with the ability to utilize Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, and full Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Prior experience working with an HR team supporting multiple team members is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and supporting hourly employees is a plus
