The HR Administrator works with the HR and Payroll Team and is responsible for the day to day implementation of the following:
Responsibilities:
- Process new employee pre hire applications; run criminal background checks, and schedule applicants for drug screens when required.
- Provide hiring manager the applicants clearance to start work; email/phone follow up with hiring manager for final application documents.
- Check employee's final paper application for accuracy and make sure all forms are included.
- Issue employee ID number using excel spreadsheet, data enter employee information into payroll system prior to payroll processing.
- Review I9 forms, work authorization documents, for accuracy and completeness.
- Create employee file on server and file application.
- Calculate employee vacation and sick time accruals when requested using Excel.
Required Skills:
- This position is heavy Data Entry and requires organization and attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and meet daily deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Must be a self starter and able to work independently making decisions.
- Experience with ADP and/or Paychex a plus.
- This position is in person, in an office environment, not hybrid or remote.
- BiLingual English /Spanish speaking a plus.
